About Andreasen angus
Nestled in the panhandle of Nebraska, Andreasen Angus is a family owned operation. We proudly raise hereford-angus cattle to provide a superior quality beef that we can deliver straight from our farm to your table. Our cows are grass-fed and corn-finished to provide a premium taste and nutrition you can trust. In a world where you can’t be too sure what’s in your store bought beef, we provide a hormone free alternative.
Our Story
A Family-Owned and Operated Business
Josh grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska spending his summers out in Scottsbluff raising some of the best hay in the valley and helping his grandparents with the cattle. In 2018, he bought into the herd as a high schooler with dreams of one day joining his grandparents as a partner in the operation. After graduating from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, he put his plans on hold to work for an organization called FOCUS (Fellowship of Catholic University Students) in North Dakota for two years, where he inevitably met me, his wife (Hannah). After our two years with FOCUS we left North Dakota, got married and decided we would finally make the move to Scottsbluff to pursue our desire to raise cattle and develop Andreasen Angus. We love being able to share what we have been blessed with with our friends and family, welcoming those interested out for brandings, putting up hay or simply just visiting the beautiful area that surrounds us!
In our short time here in Scottsbluff, Josh has started a new job working as an agronomist, we jumped into a new parish, Josh picked up some more hay ground, and we welcomed beautiful twin girls into our family, Theadosia and Frances Marie. God has truly blessed us with an unbelievable opportunity and we are excited for what this summer will bring and can’t wait to share it with you - our amazing customers!
